Since 14 December 2019, almost all plant products need a phytosanitary certificate to enter the EU, with only five fruit exceptions (pineapple, coconut, durian, banana, date) — vanilla beans are not exempt, even in small quantities. We include the certificate for EU shipments. Import duties and clearance remain the buyer’s responsibility.
